im pretty sure there is an easier way but you can do it with a software called avidemux.

How do I change the audio format in a video without going through the hassle of video conversion?
Hi, I have a creative zen vision: m and have noticed that the mp3 player can't support AC3 audio files in a video. So I was wondering if there was any way that I could reformat the AC3 to MP3 without going through the process of video conversion.
