i recorded a video on my mobile i then put it on the computer ive tried to edit the video in windows movie maker but it says its the wrong file format and it doesnt support it the formats it allows are asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv.



so does anyone know i i change .3gp format into any of the above!

Okay when your finshed making the Movie, on the LEft under Finish Movies Go to an Option that says Save to Computer along those lines and Just save and you would get some Screens those are for your Preference, then once Saved it might take a while Depending on the file size, then once Finshed Go to youtube and upload the one you saved, Name it under something you would Rmeber and bam there you go

YouTube will do that if you made it in Windows Movie Maker and didn't 'save' or 'publish' (depending on whether you're on xp or vista) your file to .wmv (or .avi too in vista) format first. It's a very common mistake I see here every day.



YouTube accepts WMV/AVI file types from Windows Movie Maker all day everyday, along with MOV, MP4, Mpeg, etc, but it doesn't accept MSWMM project files from Movie Maker as they aren't video files at all. That's more of a folder that saves your project you were working on so you can come back to it.
