What is the right format to put videos in the new video iPod Nano?

I just called Apple and that woman who gave me an awful customer service and sounded like chewing gum and was a total **beep** didn't even help.



Well, the videos are from Limewire, I just download them there. The woman told me that I have to put them in the right format but didn't want to tell me how, just told me that it was possible but I had to figure it out by myself. How do I change the format of a video in the iTunes player and pass those videos to my iPod?What is the right format to put videos in the new video iPod Nano?
