I want to upload my video onto youtube, but it doesn't recognize the format Windows Movie Maker uses, so I need to change the format. And I did not use anything like my camera or video recorder to make my video, I just used clips from sites that give clips. =)How do I convert the format of a video made in WMM to a format like avi mpg or wmv w/o downloading anything??
Open it up in Windows Movie Maker and check the tabs up top. One should have a %26quot;Make Movie%26quot; option or something close to that. I use it all the time. It will convert your vid to a wmv i believe. Then Youtube will let you upload it.

Download a converter tool, and then convert your file to avi/mpg which you like.
