I need to change a video clip from wmv to avi or mpeg so I can burn it to a VCD. the video was originally an AVI format but when I used windows movie maker to cut it in half so that I could fit it on 2 CD-R's it changed to WMV format. now it won't burn onto a VCD. Is this because of the format or someth

many VCD does n't support WMV format.
use the Media Coder software to convert WMV files to other formats of your choice such as AVI or MPG.
