How do i change the format of my videos from a jvc hdd to a format that will work on windows movie maker?

i got a 30gb jvc gz-mg130u and i am unable to put my recorded videos in to windows movie maker, which makes it unable for me to play one video take after another. im stuck in taking every video in one shot if i cant play one after another then upload as one video. so tell me what i should do! please help!!!How do i change the format of my videos from a jvc hdd to a format that will work on windows movie maker?

Use the software that came with the JVC.

These files are most likely MPEG2.
