i have windows XP if that makes a differenceHow do i change the format of a video(mpeg2) that i uploaded to my computer?
Virtualdubmod should be able to convert this into an avi file.

You may also need a codec package like this one:

which is also free.

You might want to try setting the video codec to xvid and the audio codec to mp3.
