YOU DON'T NEED ANY DOWNLOADER OR CONVERTER. SOME ANSWERERS
ON YAHOO ARE ACTUALLY DISGUISED SALESPEOPLE TRYING TO %26quot;SUCKER%26quot;
YOU INTO BUYING THEIR BOGUS AND TOTALLY UNNECESSARY SOFTWARE.
If you檙e using Windows Movie Maker, there
is the possibility that you mistakenly saved
your vid as a %26quot;MSWMM%26quot; with %26quot;Save Project%26quot;.
You should really save your video as a %26quot;AVI%26quot;
or %26quot;WMV%26quot; using %26quot;Save Movie File%26quot; (Win XP)
or %26quot;Publish Movie%26quot; (Vista).
There is a ton of difference between the first
example and the other 2. MSWMM is not a
true video, but really a %26quot;work-in-progress%26quot;. If
you'd like to upload a video to YouTube that
won't give you the dreaded %26quot;Failed%26quot; or %26quot;error%26quot;
message, simply do one of the 2 alternative
methods above, or consider the following as
the ideal way to save and upload your video:
1 -- click the blue %26quot;Tasks%26quot; icon.....(you'll get the %26quot;Movie Tasks%26quot; menu)
2 -- click %26quot;Finish Movie%26quot;, the 3rd option.....(it will expand to 5 choices)
3 -- click %26quot;Save to my Computer%26quot;....(the %26quot;Save Movie%26quot; wizard appears)
4 -- enter the name of your movie....(it is best to save in %26quot;My Videos%26quot;)
5 -- click %26quot;Next%26quot; at the bottom.....(you'll see the %26quot;Movie Setting%26quot; page)
6a -- for regular video, click %26quot;Best quality for playback%26quot;.....(the default)
6b -- for 16:9, click %26quot;Show more choices%26quot;, then tweak it until 640x360
7 -- click %26quot;Next%26quot; at the bottom.....(the saving might take quite a while)
8 -- click %26quot;Finish%26quot; at the bottom.....(your video is saved the good way)
YouTube recommends your video format be
MPEG-4 at 480x360 recorded together with
sound in MP3 audio, all at a rate more than
24 frames per second. For 16:9 widescreen,
the perfect dimensions of the new YouTube
player are exactly 640x360. A few other file
formats which YouTube readily accepts are
AVI, MPG, MOV, and WMV (the proper file
format for Windows Movie Maker).

I hope my answer is what you're looking for.Youtube help! how do i change the format of a video so it can be put on youtube?
Ensure the file format is correct before uploading to youtube...
Using windows movie maker -- you have to save it into the proper file format, that is %26quot;wmv%26quot; file (use the %26quot;save movie file%26quot; on the menu at the top left) before upload..
The WMV file will be smaller in size but still quite good quality.. so uploading it will be faster.
also some movie maker version requires to be published instead of save... for that, press %26quot;ctrl-p%26quot; to publish or search%26amp;select a publish option from the menu at the top of the program window.
--for best editing....
use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.
or .. Just get those clips you want , save %26amp; convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....
this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.
Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.
It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.
It works very well....just google search for %26quot;zillatube%26quot;, and select the first search result for download...Youtube help! how do i change the format of a video so it can be put on youtube?
either using movie maker publish it to WMV format then upload it or get a video converter like this one and convert to any format you like
